Operational Issues: 

Long-fiber impurities can wrap around rotating shafts or block equipment inlets and outlets, causing production disruptions and equipment failures. Dust can cause environmental pollution in the workshop.

Cleaning Methods and Equipment:

1. Drum Magnetic Separator: 

Uses magnets to remove metal impurities. It consists of a feed hopper, rotating drum, magnetic core, and discharge device. The magnetic core attracts metal impurities, which are then discharged separately.

2. Planar Rotary Screen: 

Utilizes the difference in particle size between oil materials and impurities. The screen surface performs a planar rotary motion, allowing smaller particles to pass through while larger particles are discharged.

3. Gravity Destoner:

 Uses the difference in specific gravity and suspension speed between oil seeds and stones. The inclined screen surface and airflow separate stones from oil seeds.

4. Air Separator: 

Uses wind to separate impurities based on differences in specific gravity and aerodynamic properties. It can remove light impurities like dust and heavy impurities like metals and stones.
